Introducing the new Gwiddle, working to bridge the digital divide for all young people

After months of hard work and perfecting, our brand new website and brand is finally live across Gwiddle!

It's got a new design, it's easier to discover more about digital making and it'll make finding out about our clubs even easier.

Since the Keeping Digital Foundation relaunched Gwiddle in 2023, we’ve been working hard to truly understand the priorities when it comes to ensuring all young people have the same opportunities when it comes to digital making. We’ve listened.

You want more free digital making activities, giving young people the opportunity to develop their skills within their local communities.

The Keeping Digital Foundation has recently launched this Gwiddle Clubs in York, Harrogate and Northallerton - and we are now encouraging people from across the UK to launch their own Gwiddle Clubs with the support of our team. We’re here to help every step of the way, from acquiring funding, finding venues, to even sourcing digital making activities and tutorials. Gwiddle is the new network of free coding clubs that work to inspire the next generation.

Our new website makes it easier to find your nearest Gwiddle Club through our interactive map, and for the first time includes a Gwiddle Blog where the team will be posting the latest Gwiddle news from across the country.

In September, we’re also launching My Gwiddle. People will be able to sign up for a free account on our website, and it will give you access to a range of tutorials to do at home - meaning you can continue making outside of our Clubs.

We’ve got some exciting Gwiddle launches taking place this year - so keep an eye out on the new Gwiddle website to keep up-to-date with everything digital making.

Keeping Digital Foundation will continue to be the go-to site for all services provided by the Keeping Digital Foundation, and any news about the wider group of services (including Gwiddle).
